道具を使って自分の手で作品を作る楽しさを子どもたちに伝え、大人になってもそれを続けて心豊かで創造的な生活を送ってほしいと願って開発しました。
子供の手の大きさや弱い力を考慮し、小型にするだけでなく、ノコギリの歯を細かくして切り心地を良くするなどの工夫も加え、さらには大人になっても長い間使えるようヤスキ青紙鋼などの最高品質の素材を使用して仕上げています。
道具を収納する木箱を始め、作業板、三角定規などはSDGsに配慮し、枯渇する心配のない竹の集成材を使用しています。
